The March Stamp of the Month is entitled Happy Place (S1403) (Set of 7). Here is a picture of this stamp set:

I think that the sentiments are great on this stamp set.  The nesting dolls will be so cute colored with our markers.

I decided to use the sentiment in my artwork this month.

I used our new Pennant Frame to make this adorable piece of artwork.

This was SO easy to put together.  It is totally made up of our new Balloon Ride Paper Pack and Complements.  I strung up the word, Love, with our new Metallic Assortment Baker's Twine and added some of the new Balloon Ride Assortment pieces.

Super cute and easy to do with our Liquid Glass! Oh, and the sentiment from the Stamp of the Month is stamped on one of my extra cards from the new Balloon Ride Picture My Life.  You get 122 cards with this set and it is fun to find ways to use the extra cards.

Check Out My Ivy Lane Scrapbooking Workshop

Tutorial on How to Assemble our Wonderful Close to My Heart Scrapbook Albums

One of the most asked questions from my customers new to Close to My Heart products is how to assemble our Close to My Heart post bound albums.  One of my sister CTMH Consultants, Lynn Como, has put together this video to show you how to easily put this album together.  It is far easier than you would think and results in a flat lying album that looks great on your shelf or coffee table.

Just remember to not skimp on the quality of your scrapbooking albums.  You spend so much time and money on designing and making your beautiful scrapbooking pages.  Why would you want to keep them in a cheap, flimsy album?




I absolutely love the look of our Faux Leather Albums.  They are made well.  The stitching around the edges lends a look of elegance to our albums.  We will be introducing a new line of albums in the next month and I will blog about them when they arrive.

My March Ivy Lane Cardmaking Workshop

I became a Close to My Heart Consultant 7 1/2 years ago when one of my sons was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and needed me to stay home with him.  After working at a job that I loved, Medical Technology, I found that I was bored staying at home and needed a new outlet.  That is where Close to My Heart fit into my life.

I had been "crafty" my entire life but I had never papercrafted.  Close to My Heart opened up a whole new world for me.  I love the product and I love the people I have met while working my business.  I signed up originally for the discount.  But once my son started improving, I have continued it as a business.  I now have a fairly large team that keeps expanding and I love it!  We hold large Team crops and are active in our Community.  I have team members all over the world.  I became a Director at Close to My Heart a year and a half ago.

Pop-Up Box Card - Close to My Heart Style

I have the most wonderful Close to My Heart team!  We just had a super duper fun Stamp Camp and one of my downline designed and taught the cutest card.  It is called a Pop-Up Box Card and the tutorial for it can be found on Splitcoast Stampers.

See the ribbon and the button beneath the front flap?  I am having a hard time getting them in the picture.  The edges of the patterned paper are all edged with Slate Ink.  All of the White Daisy Shapes are cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and the Foxes are fussy cut with our wonderful non-stick microtip scissors.
