The September Stamp of the Month is entitled Family is Forever  (S1409) (Set of 7). Here is a picture of this stamp set:

I am loving the tree in this stamp set!  It is incredibly beautiful and I hope you will like what I did with it.  Here is my artwork.

I used our new Designed Decor Colonial White Shadow Box.  It holds a 12" x 12" page perfectly and you can even remove the page and change your displayed pages based on the seasons.  It has a magnetic closure and sawtooth hangers on the back.  The hinged back opens for easy loading.

I used the Seaside Paper pack and love the blue board look to the paper the tree is stamped on.  I stamped the tree with Slate Ink directly on the paper.  The hearts are stamped on Sorbet paper with Sorbet Ink and then cut out and adhered to the tree.

Chalk It Up with The Stampers with an Attitude August Blog Hop

This month our Stampers with an Attitude are making artwork using our new paper line called Chalk It Up.  Chalk It Up is incredibly cool!  It will be great for school pictures as well as cards for teens, one of the hardest group to make cards for.

I have been creating tons of artwork with Chalk It Up this past week.  I have decided that I want to stop accumulating scraps, so I am trying to use every last piece of paper, every puffy sticker from the assortment, and every chipboard complement.  

I had some pretty cool chipboard complements left so I started with them (along with paper scraps) to make my card.

This is a sweet card for my 11 year old grandson.  He is constantly telling me that he is AWESOME!  So I knew that I needed to use this banner for him.  He has been through so much and he does amaze me every day with his resilience.  Love him to pieces!

In digging through my scraps, I found the Sorbet sunburst and the White Daisy circle, both cut from different projects.  SCORE!!!  I used more scraps!  The stars are more Chalk It Up Complements and the only non-Chalk It Up embellishments are the Gold Bling Gems and the Teal Shimmer Trim.  Even boys have to have a little bling!

The Annual Inspirations New Product Blog Hop

Our Close to My Heart Annual Inspirations went live on August 1st and it is jam-packed with over 250 new products! 

I tried to use as many new products as I could on one card.  Here it is.

I have used our new pink cardstock called Pixie for the card  base.  This is a 5" x 7" card.  I cut our Black card stock at 4.75" x 6.75" and ran it through my cuttlebug, using the new Close to My Heart Floral embossing folder.  I spritzed some water on the cardstock before I embossed it to help reduce cracking of the cardstock.  I wanted to preserve the black color for this card.

The patterned paper is from our new paper pack called Brushed.  The floral paper measures 2.5" x 6".  The Pear polka dot patterned paper is 2.5" x 5".  I stamped the cute shopper on a 2" x 4.5" piece of  White Daisy cardstock using our Black pigment ink.  Then I colored it in with our ShinHan Twin markers.  I really enjoyed coloring with these markers.  They are so smooth.

I popped up the stamped panel with our new thin 3D Foam Tape.  Now my cards are not going to cost me 45 cents to make and $7 to mail!

I added a 4.75" of one of the zip strips from Brushed with a piece of our Gold Shimmer Trim on it.  A girl has to have a little glitter, doesn't she?  I finished up the card with a cute little metal flower from the Brushed Assortment.  The flower has a silver bling in the middle but I wanted it to be gold so I replaced it with a gold Bling Gem so it would match my Shimmer Trim.
