October Home for the Holidays Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the October Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

This month I am following {Adeline Brill's Blog.}   We have over 70 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.   If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

The October Stamp of the Month is entitled Home for the Holidays  (S1410) (Set of 7). Here is a picture of this stamp set:

This stamp set feels like Christmas.  The bear makes me happy!  Love the home stamp.  I will be creating something special with it soon.  I was scrapbooking yesterday, trying to decide what to make.  I woke up with this design in my head and just had to decide what color to back it with.  Here is what I came up with.

Can I say that Red and Black are my favorite colors for Christmas?  I love the pop of the colors.  Never in a million years did I expect to back it with Whisper Cardstock.  But it just worked.  This card is mostly paper.  The only embellishments used were some Bitty Sparkles on the sky behind the bear and some liquid glass on the bear's nose, eyes, and ears.

The card is 5" x 7".  I cut the large black frame using the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, pg 24, set at 4.75" width and 6.75" height.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to leave me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Sheila Bennett's Blog.}

The Home for the Holidays Stamp Set can be purchased for $17.95 or if you purchase $50 in CTMH products, you can add this stamp set to your order for an additional $5.  This stamp set is only available between October 1 – October 31, 2014.
You can purchase this stamp set as well as any of the supplies listed below on my website.

Stampers with an Attitude Scaredy Cat Blog Hop

Welcome to the September Stampers with an Attitude Scaredy Cat Blog Hop.  This month I am following  {Sue Latta.}  Our blog hop is a circular hop.  You just click on the link to the next blog at the bottom of this post and go visit the next blog.  If you get lost, I have all of the participating blogs listed at the bottom of my post.  Hope you enjoy seeing what our team has made for you.

This month our Stampers with an Attitude are making artwork using our new paper line called Scaredy Cat.  I love Scaredy Cat!  The Halloween word patterned paper is one of my favorites.  You can cut out the individual images and feature them in your artwork.  They are that good!

I am also loving the Scaredy Cat cardstock stickers, AKA Complements.  I have used them in a layout that I am teaching at a crop, but I did not use all of them.  I have a question for you.  How do you use the rest of your stickers?  I decided to make a set of cards featuring these adorable stickers.  Here is the first of my cards.

This card is made using the Scaredy Cat paper pack, Scaredy Cat Complements, CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy, CTMH Cricut Artbooking, Silver Shimmer Trim, Sparkles, and Bitty Sparkles.

The black cardstock behind the EEK is cut from the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge, .  I changed the size ratio in Design Space to fit my sticker to 4.5" (height) by 2.45" (width).

The spider web border is cut from Slate cardstock using the CTMH Artbooking cartridge, Border 3.9" (width).

Thank you for visiting my blog.  The next very talented artist for you to visit on our blog hop is {Jen Patrick}.

CTMH #30yearsofhappy National Stamping Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the National Stamping Month #30yearsofhappy
Blog Hop!

This month I am following {Lauren Moore's Blog.}   We have over 40 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in our National Stamping Month #30yearsofhappy Blog Hop.   If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

September is National Stamping Month, and Close To My Heart will be celebrating all month long! When you spend $30 on any current retail-priced stamps during the month of September, you will qualify to receive the exclusive C-size stamp set #30yearsofhappy FREE (a $13.95 value)! This special offer is part of our celebration of National Stamping Month and honors the ongoing celebration of founder and CEO Jeanette Lynton’s 30-year anniversary in the scrapbooking and stamping industry. The exclusive stamp set features 30 mini images and sentiments perfectly suited for 30 days of happy stamping! You can take part in the fun for the next 30 days by purchasing your own set!

And now for my project.  I made a mini card gift set!  I embossed one of our plastic pillow boxes with out Polka Dot Embossing Folder, cut a card wrap using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge, and adhered it to the pillow box.

Then I made 6 mini cards, also using the shaped card, found on the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and decorated it with various paper pack scraps and the cute little stamps found in #30yearsofhappy National Stamping Month Stamp set.
So much fun!  Check out all of the mini cards that I made.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to leave me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Michelle Stewart's Blog.}
