September/October New Product Blog Hop

Hi There!  I am following {Wendy Kessler's blog}   We have 15 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in our September/October Catalog New Product Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

We had a blog hop last week featuring the annual CTMH 21-22 Core Catalog and now we want to show you some artwork we have designed featuring the September/October Catalog.  So much goodness indeed.

The September/October catalog is featuring Fall and Christmas paper suites.  I had some ideas of what I would like to make with our Pumpkin Spice paper suite and at the last moment switched to our Christmas paper suite, Holly & Ivy.

I have fallen in love with one of our cute new stamp sets, Peace and Love Stamp + Thin Cuts.  Have you ever seen a stamp set that you just can't wait to get your hands on?  This is that stamp set for me.  Check it out.

Look what I made:

I made a Christmas Angel shaker card using our new Curved Rectangle Frame Thin Cuts

and the Curved Rectangle Shaker Window Foam + Acetate.  I filled the shaker portion with Iridescent Flower Confetti - it reminds me of snow!  I cut the frame out of our Silver Glitter Paper.

Check out my sweet angel.  You can't see it in the picture but the wings are glittery.  I applied Moon Dust Stickles™ Glitter Gel.

So let me tell you what products I used in making this card.

I used the Holly & Ivy Paper Pack

the little bow comes from the Holly & Ivy Cardmaking Kit, Wild Berry Glitter Gems, Intense Black Ink Pad, Evergreen Ink Pad, Evergreen Cardstock, Sage Cardstock, White Daisy Cardstock, Value Pack Card Bases and Envelopes, and these TriBlend Markers - Dark Red Blend, Dark Red Shades, Antique Pink Blend, Pale Pink Shades, Pale Pink Blend, Earth Brown Blend, Red Brown Blend, Brown Grey Blend, Coral Blend, Fair Skin Blend, and Blender.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Gina Brandstetter} and see what she has  made with products from our September/October Catalog.

You can purchase this stamp set as well as any of the supplies listed above on my website.

CTMH Core Catalog Blog Hop

Hi There!  I am following {Wendy Kessler's blog}   We have 14 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in our 21-22 CTMH Core Catalog Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

It's the time of the year that I love - Close to My Heart has released not just one catalog.  It has released two catalogs.  Along with the 2 month, September/October Catalog, the annual 21-22 Core Catalog was released with all of the products that will be around for a full year.  In this blog hop we are featuring products from this Core Catalog.

I am so in love with the new products.  We have a bunch of thin cuts that will make crafting so easy!  I decided to use the Purse Card Thin Cuts for my project.

Look at all of the pieces that comes with that thin cut!!  Close to My Heart has thought of everything!!  Now let me show you what I made.

I cut the main part of the purse out of the Love Story Paper Packet.

I didn't use the stickers in this project but will in an upcoming piece of artwork.  These papers pair well with any color and since I just cannot get enough of our new Color of the Year, Wild Berry, I thought that color would just pop with the Black and White of this collection.

The other products used in this project are Wild Berry Cardstock, Wild Berry Glitter Paper, Gold Foil Paper for the buckle, Gold Embellishing Thread to attach the little tag, one Gold Glitter GemBlack Ink, and the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Embroidered Card Front Stamp Set.

Let me show you the inside of the card:

I almost forgot to tell you that I used our new Gift Card Tabs Thin Cuts to easily make the notches that hold the gift card inside the purse.  Plus I added a spot on the back of the purse to write a short note and sign the card.

That's it for my cute little purse.  It was SO easy and quick to make.  I hope you like it!.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Brenda Lapp} and see what she has  made with products from our Core Catalog.

You can purchase this stamp set as well as any of the supplies listed above on my website.
