Wild Berry Blast Blog Hop

This month I am following {Melissa Robinson's blog, My Heartfelt Sentiments}   We have 9 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in our Wild Berry Blast Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

One of our favorite aspects of our Close To My Heart color palette is the Color of the Year! To celebrate our love for our current Color of the Year, Wild Berry, we’ve put together an incredible special full of Wild Berry-coordinated products! Some of these products are familiar and are available in our Core Products catalog, others are exclusive and can only be purchased through the Wild Berry Blast special.

At the forefront of the exclusive products is the Wild Berry Paper Packet + Sticker Sheet and the Wild Berry Coordinating Cardstock. This specialized paper selection features holographic and foil accents, along with some fun UV-coated patterns on the stickers and specialty cardstock. Wild Berry Blast also includes a selection of exclusive chipboard die-cuts and its very own stamp set! All of these exclusive products are available individually, or you can get them together in the Wild Berry Blast Product Bundle at a 20% discount!

In addition to the exclusive Wild Berry Blast products, we’ve also got some incredible deals on existing Wild Berry products, including the Wild Berry cardstock, glitter paper, dots, sequins, and so much more! With deals up to 20%-off on the familiar Wild Berry products you love, Wild Berry Blast is guaranteed to be an unforgettable celebration of the 2021–2022 Color of the Year!

The items and deals included in the Wild Berry Blast special are available from April 1–30 while supplies last.

Normally I am not a "pink person" but when I saw the beautiful cardstock and the adorable patterned paper, I was hooked.

I couldn't wait to work with it.  I made 3 different cards:

Each of my cards use the Wild Berry Blast Cardstock and the Wild Berry Blast Patterned Paper with Stickers.  I used the stickers for my sentiments in each of these cards to make it fast and easy to put together.  I also used the Sunburst Die to make the background.  I intended to make only one card, but I had so many pieces cut that I made two more.  I still have more pieces I can make with more leftover pieces.  I also added Wild Berry Glitter Gems to each of my cards.

In this card I balanced the Wild Berry with some Gold Glitter Paper.  This makes for a very elegant card.

With this card I added some Ballerina Glitter Paper and Nectarine Cardstock.  The flowers are cut out using our Layered Flowers Thin Cuts.  These are my all-time favorite flower die cuts.

And finally, I added our Silver Foil Paper to go with the Silver Embossed Cardstock from the Wild Berry Blast Cardstock.  I also added Silver Embellishing Thread.
Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Katy Taylor of ScrappinKaty} and see what she has made with this adorable stamp set.

National Scrapbooking Day Blog Hop

This month I am following {Melissa Robinson's blog, My Heartfelt Sentiments}   We have 11 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this National Scrapbooking Day Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

National Scrapbooking Day is one of my favorite "Scrapbooking Holidays".  Close to My Heart knows how to do it well and is offering 5 different Scrapbooking and Cardmaking Workshops and will be holding a big celebration on May 6th and 7th on their Facebook page.  Join them as they put these fabulous workshops together and do giveaways.  This is a great way to pick up some tips and learn some new techniques.

In this blog hop we will show you how to use some of these products in different pieces of artwork.  I needed some little treat pouches for an event I am holding and I just adore the stamp set images in A Toast to You Cardmaking Workshop Kit.

Here are my treat pouches:

Let me tell you about my treat pouch.  It is called a diaper fold treat pouch.  They take a 6" x 6" piece of double sided paper.  Woo hoo!!  I looked on my website and found that a retired product was still available on my website.  It is a bundle of 6" x 6" pieces of double sided paper called our Bright Bundle - win, win!!

I stamped the cute taco and sentiment with Intense Black Ink and then colored it with these TriBlend Markers:  Citrus Green Blend; Coral Blend; Coral Shades; Gold Brown Blend; and Gold Yellow Blend.

I matted the stamped images with scraps and I doodled around the edges with a Black Journaling Pen.

The National Scrapbooking Day Promotion is available until May 31, 2022 or while supplies last and can be purchased here.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist,
{Darlys Recker} and see what she has made with this adorable stamp set.

You can purchase this promotion as well as any of the supplies listed above on my website.

April SOTM Blog Hop - Message in A Bottle

This month I am following {Melissa Robinson's blog, My Heartfelt Sentiments}   We have 12 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

The April Stamp of the Month is entitled Message in a Bottle  (S2204) (Set of  21).   Here is a picture of this stamp set:

Such a pretty stamp set.  It just begged to be colored in with our TriBlend Markers.  I wanted each of my bottles to be a different color like some of the old bottles I have seen in thrift stores.

Here is my card:

I "washed" the background with our Gold Shimmer Brush.  It makes it very sparkly.  I colored the stars in the middle bottle with the Sundance Shimmer Brush and the circle in that same bottle with the Raspberry Shimmer Brush.  I also added Platinum Stickles to that middle bottle.

The corks are stamped with Toffee Ink, and the table grain is added with our Black Journaling Pen.

I used the black word patterned paper from our March-April Mix In Paper Pack.

The April Stamp of the Month Stamp Set can be purchased for $18.95 or if you purchase $50 in CTMH products, you can add this stamp set to your order for an additional $5.  Or if you are a VIP Customer, you can get this stamp set FREE with a $50 purchase. This stamp set is only available between April 1 – April 30, 2022.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist,
