Share the Magic is an adorable stamp set. I am not a big fan of coloring in images and I could not figure out what card pattern I wanted to use. I woke up this morning (procrastination is a normal attribute for me) and knew that I wanted to make a Christmas Stair Step card. I am going to try and talk my customers into making this during our Christmas Card Workshop on October 16th or 17th. And here is my card!
The reindeer on the front is stamped on Desert Sand cardstock that has been sanded. It gives the look of fur to me. I paper pieced the nose and tongue with the red side of the Mistletoe Creative Basics B & Ts.

The next step has Santa on it. I adhered the same red B & T onto a square of Cocoa cardstock. Then I stamped and cut out Santa. I paper pierced Santa's head with Colonial White cardstock and his mittens and sack with B & T paper from CTMH's My Reflections Mistletoe Level 2 Paper Pack. I colored in Santa's face with my Blender Pen and Parchment Ink. I also added rosy cheeks with my Blush Ink Pad and the Blender Pen. Can't have a pasty Santa, can we? Using Liquid Applique I covered Santa's cuffs and the pom pom on his hat and then I covered the Liquid Applique with Fun Flock. I colored Santa's boots and belt with my black marker and then embossed Santa's belt buckle with Silver Pearl embossing powder.
The tree next to Santa was first stamped on Cocoa cardstock and then on the green B & T from Mistletoe Creative Basics. I cut the needles part of the tree out of the green and adhered it to the Cocoa tree after cutting it out. I then decorated my tree with blue and green and purple and red sparkles. I just love bling!
The last step has the Share the Magic sentiment also decorated with clear sparkles. So pretty and eye catching.
