Welcome to the September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. This month I am following Connie Walsh's Blog. We have almost 60 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.
The September Stamp of the Month is entitled Poster Tidings (S1309) (Set of 2). Here is a picture of this stamp set:
I am totally in love with my Cricut Artbooking Cartridge. All of the die cuts are cut from this cartridge. And this week the Gypsy software was updated to include this cartridge. I am head over heels in love with it now.
Do you like my little tree? It seemed to go well with the Autumn saying from this stamp set. The leaves were cut by cutting the tree multiple times in different cardstock colors and then just dropping the color of leaf I wanted where it belongs. I can easily do that by cutting out my leaves and leaving it on my Cricut mat until I am ready to use them. Then I know the exact position of the leaf and can just pluck it off of the mat, ink the edges, and then using a little 3D foam tape, adhere the leaf in place.
Cricut Artbooking Cuts:
Tree - Saddle Cardstock: pg 72 at 8"
Leaves - Ruby, Honey and Sunset Cardstock - cut trees 3 more times and only use leaves
Cat - Black cardstock: pg 70 at 4"
Pumpkins - Sunset Cardstock: pg 55 at 4" and 3".
Here is my card.
Everything is edged with Saddle Ink. The card base is made of Barn Red Cardstock. The next layer is Topiary Cardstock. The sentiment is stamped on Champagne Cardstock and matted with Barn Red Cardstock. That patterned paper is from the Sarita Paper Pack (X7171B).
The next stop on the blog hop is the Fabulous Kathleen Androlewicz's Blog.
