January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - This Moment

Welcome to the January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

This month I am following {Melissa Robinson's Blog.}   We have over 50 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.   If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

The January Stamp of the Month is entitled This Moment (S1501) (Set of 12). Here is a picture of this stamp set:

The January Stamp Set has images that can be cut with out Cricut Artbooking.  Can you say A-W-E-S-O-M-E?  Perfect for Valentine's Day and quite unique.  So much fun to play with the bullseye stamped image.

One of my fellow Close to My Heart Consultants used our Cut Above Treat Bag Kits to make Christmas cards last month and it was super adorable so I decided to bust out the Valentine Treat Bag Kit pictured below and paired it with the January Stamp of the Month Stamp Set to make some Valentine Cards.  Wait until you see what I do with the stickers!  I didn't use them for the cards but you can decorate your envelopes with them or stop by tomorrow to see what I make with them.

My first card is pictured below.

Where or where do I start?  So much is on this card.

Well, I found a new way to scallop our shimmer trim.  I actually applied the Silver Shimmer Trim to the card front at the bottom and then scalloped the edge.  So much easier!  I used the January Stamp of the Month for all of the stamped images.  The bullseye is stamped on the inside of the card and shows through the window.  I applied one of our new puffies as the heart inside the bullseye.  Add some of our Pixie extra thick twine and voila!  I am done with a super cute card!

Here is the inside of the card.

And here is my second card.  You get two different patterns in the Valentine treat bag kit.  I love the red and the pink pattern and embellished with the Black Shimmer Trim.  I added some black stars from the Scaredy Cat Assortment and made a much simpler card.  I have been trying to decide whether to add something else to it but my husband really likes this one better so I have left it alone for now.

And the inside of my card.  Check out the arrow washi tape!
