I just love the colors of this camera and all of the glitz. I wanted to make a card that expressed this.
Did you see the featured tutorial this week from Splitcoast Stampers? They featured the Starburst Background technique. I love the way the background spotlights the camera. I have made cards with this before but I had always placed the "rays" next to each other with no space. This time I left a little space between each ray and the black glitter paper peeks through giving my card a little more pizzaz.
The camera is cut out using the Close to My Heart Cricut Artbooking Cartridge. I used white Glitter paper to make the "burst" shape (also from the Artbooking cartridge) behind the camera to represent the white flash bulb of the camera. I added aluminum foil to my camera for some shine. And the hearts I added because I love hearts and glitter!

Melinda, you captured the essence of the photo in so many ways - the colours, the camera, and especially the flash!! I can't believe that you used aluminum foil, that's the most creative part - thanks for being our wonderful Guest Designer this week :o)
