Here's To You Blog Hop

Welcome to the Here's to You Blog Hop.

This hop I am following {Melissa Robinson's Blog.}   We have 15 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in our Here's to You Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

The Here’s to You special features a workshop kit inspired by one of life’s special occasions, a wedding. To celebrate these moments, the Here’s to You workshop kits features four exclusive stamp sets designed for making elegant cards and layouts. The products in this workshop include four stamp sets and other items to create one 12" x 12" page and seven cards that can be used for weddings and many other occasions!

I love the workshop that is featured with this promotion but I wanted to show you how you can use it for different occasions.

I like to surf through blogs and Facebook groups to find cards and other artwork ideas that I can share with my customers.  I found this card design on a Facebook group and knew it would be perfect with these stamp sets.

Let me give you some basic instructions to make it.  Take a 5.5" x 11" piece of Willow Cardstock (X5970)  and score it 4.25", 7", and 9.75".  I cut the patterned paper from the Central Park Paper Pack  (X7231B) at .25" smaller than the panel. so I have 2 pieces that are 1" x 5.25", 1 at 4.25" x 5.5", and another at 2.5" x 5.25".  I also cut a piece of White Daisy Cardstock (1385) at 2.5" x 5.25".  The front Willow Cardstock panel is 3" x 4.25".  The patterned paper is 2 7/8" x 4 1/8".  The front panel is adhered to the thin front panel of the card.

I stamped the front sentiment in Pacifica Ink (Z2892).

And I stamped the inside sentiment in Glacier Ink (Z2841).

I added a few Central Park Sequins (Z4178).  This was a very easy card to make.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Gina Brandstetter's Blog} and see what she has made with this adorable stamp set.

You can purchase this stamp/thin cut set as well as any of the supplies listed above on my website.
