Close to My Heart August Stamp of the Month Bloghop with NEW PRODUCT!

If you have found yourself here from Amy McVey's Blog, then you are in the right place.  This month we have over 60 Close to My Heart Consultants for the August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.

The August Stamp of the Month is entitled Wicked (Set of 9).  What a fun stamp set!  I am lovin' the witch and the black cat - actually the entire stamp set!    Here is a picture of the August Stamp of the Month:

As you know, I took a couple of weeks off to go to the Close to My Heart Convention in California and to just relax, so I was chomping at the bit to get to this Blog Hop and to use our fantastic new products.  I had never done a Wiper Card, so I challenged myself to use it with this stamp set.

The tutorial for Wiper Card can be found on Splitcoast Stampers.   There is an awesome video there as well as a step by step tutorial.  Here is my card closed.  I used our new Mischief Level  2 Paper Pack to make this card.  So cool!

Check out my cute little spider web with spider.  Isn't that an adorable embellishment?  The spider and the web is from our new stamp set called All Hallows Eve (C1462).  The web is embossed with Silver Pearl embossing powder.  The paper beneath the spider web was sanded with our sanding kit.  I am loving the new sturdier patterned paper that Close to My Heart unveiled with this new Idea Book.

The "sign" underneath the witch panel is not stamped but  instead is cut out from the Mischief paper pack.  And check out my pretty rose.   It was cut out with the new Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge and I used the striped patterned paper from Mischief.  I had never used the Cricut before and look how gorgeous this flower is:
In the middle of the flower is a dark grey Opaque.  Hey, have I told you yet that I am lovin' these new products?  Well I am!

Now here is my wiper card opened up.  Check out the little surprise:
See my black cat?  Now how sweet is that?  The words above and below the cat are cut out from our paper as well.  Our patterned paper now has a little 1/2" strip along the top called a zip strip.  It can be cut off and used as decoration.  And once you cut it off you still have a 12" x 12" piece of patterned paper.

The Grey Wool sign all the way to the left was cut out with the Exclusive to Close to My Heart Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge and it fit perfectly with the stamp in the Wicked Stamp Set.  No cutting out!  Once again too cool!

This stamp set can be purchased or you can even get it for only $5 Between August 1 - August 31, 2011.  And guess what??!! We have a special in August that if you purchase $50 and get the August Stamp of the Month for $5, you will also get a FREE A sized alphabet stamp set called Typeface.  What a deal!  If you do not have a Close to My Heart Consultant, you can purchase this stamp set on my website.

Thank you for visiting my blog,  but it is time to hop to the next blog.  So off you fly to the next stop, Pamela O'Connor's Blog  and see what she has created for you!
