Let's Shimmer, Sparkle, and Shine with an Attitude

Welcome to the February Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop - Shimmer, Sparkle, and Shine.  This month I am following  {Keeley Kirwan.}  Our blog hop is a circular hop.  You just click on the link to the next blog on the bottom of this post and go visit the next blog.  If you get lost, I have all of the participating blogs near the bottom of my post.  Hope you enjoy seeing what our team has made for you.

This month our Stampers With an Attitude is featuring artwork with Shimmer, Sparkle, and Shine using NEW products from the Spring/Summer 2014 Catalog.

If you know me, you will know that I absolutely LOVE bling, shimmer, sparkle, and shine!  I knew which stamp set I wanted to use and I knew that I wanted to make a card, so I picked up my Make It From Your Heart, Volume 1 How to Book.  This is the most incredible book!  It is a great starting point for my projects.

I chose Card Pattern #29 on pg. 47 and rotated it 90 degrees. Looking at the stamp set, I decided on a 6" x 6" card.  I knew that I wanted to use our new Paper Fundamentals paper.  This paper is so incredible.  It is embossed on one side and has a pattern on the other.  It comes in our basic colors and is very glossy on the embossed side.

When I saw the stamp set, Dreamer, I just loved the little girl in the stamp set and have been dying to use it.

So, here's my card:

Both of the patterned papers are from the Paper Fundamentals pack.  One is the embossed side and the other is the unembossed side of a different pattern.  I used Bronze Shimmer Tape between the papers.  The images are stamped with chocolate ink and the edges are inked with chocolate ink as well.  I used embellishments from the Rosewood Mini Medley.  The tiny flower in the girl's hair is colored in with Honey Light and Ruby Light markers.
