Cardmaking Workshop Your Way Blog Hop

Welcome to the Cardmaking Workshop Your Way Blog Hop!

This hop I am following {Kirsten Desorcy's Blog.}   We have 14 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this Cardmaking Workshop Your Way Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

We would like to show you a product line that you may not be aware of.  It comes in a very nondescript bag.  But in this bag is a big surprise that you can do more with than what it was intended for.  They are the Cardmaking Workshop Your Way kits.

Each of us have picked our favorite kits from the Seasonal Expressions Catalog (that retires at the end of this month) and designed something different to show you the versatility of the stamp set that is included in this kit or has used the supplies in a different way than the instructions pictured.  These kits have stamp sets that can only be purchased in the kit.  I have chosen to use the kit, Workshops Your Way® Here for You Cardmaking Kit (G1124).
This Workshops Your Way® kit contains materials for creating 12 cards. Easy-to-follow online instructions guide you in creating two different card designs. Thanks to the interchangable designs and stamp sentiments, you have ultimate control over the creative process, so you can always make your cards your way.

Here are the cards that you can download the instructions to make.

And here is the card that I made.

I used the fern stamp to stamp a pattern on the frame that goes around the sentiment.  I used Slate Ink on Slate cardstock.  I cut the oval in the wood patterned paper with my Cricut using our Artistry Cricut Collection so that the Ombre paper with the sentiment peeks through and is showcased.

The flower stamps are two step stamps and are super easy to use.  You just stamp the solid image and then stamp the outline over it.  Then I fussy cut them.  I added a few sparkles and assembled the card.

The Smoothie Ombre paper is from the Paper Fundamentals Whimsy collection and the wood patterned paper is from Dreamin' Big.  The Dreamin' Big paper collection and this Workshop Your Way are "while supplies last", so get them now before they are gone.

Here's my sweet ragdoll kitty, Chloe, with my card.  Doesn't she looked thrilled?  Chloe has real Cattitude!

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Wendy Kessler's Blog} and see what she has made with one of our card Workshop Your Ways.

You can purchase any of the supplies used in my artwork on my website.
