National Stamping Month Blog Hop!
This hop I am following {Cat Nowak's Blog.} We have 16 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this National Stamping Month Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.
Did you know that September is National Stamping Month? Close to My Heart is offering a beautiful interactive card and stamp set to commemorate this month. This year’s National Stamping Month promotion features the exclusive From the Heart card kit, which contains an E-size stamp set as well as materials and instructions for creating 12 interactive cards with detailed stamping. Individual components of the card kit are available at retail price, but you save 20% when you purchase them as part of the kit! Look what you receive in the kit.
And you don't even need scissors. The kit is already die cut. You just pop them out of the sheet their on and assemble them. The Close to my Heart Blog has complete assembly instructions with pictures making these super easy to put together.
These floral stamps are the latest rage. You have all of the pieces of a floral arrangement and you get to stamp them on the card as you wish. The sentiments are large and fit in the window of the base.
Here is my card when it is closed:
And here is the card when it is open.
Let me tell you about my card. I cut the main panel down 1/8 inch on all sides so that I could mat it with Fern cardstock. I also (hold your heart) cut the large sentiment stamps so that the flowers were separate from the sentiment. I used one of those flower arrangements on the top panel. I also straightened the stamp on the block so it fit neatly in a corner. I love how our stamps allow us to move them around as we need.
The images are colored in with Shin Han markers. The sentiment on the main panel is from the stamp set, Sending Prayers (B1563). The images are stamped in Pewter and the sentiment is stamped in Black ink.
I used our new heart border thin cuts to cut out the hearts on the stabilizing "bar" with our gold glitter paper.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Wendy Kessler's Blog} and see what she has made with this adorable stamp set.
You can purchase any of the supplies used in my artwork on my website.
