I absolutely love the colors of Christmas. I was joking with a dear friend that instead of visions of sugarplums dancing in my head, I have had visions of Christmas Craft projects dancing in my head. Cards, boxes, treat bags, and now tags. And Christmas is fast approaching.
Here is a tag I designed. I used a card from the Christmas List Picture My Life Cards (X7239E) as the sentiment. I have fallen in love with punch art, but have substituted my Close to My Heart Cricut cartridges for punches. I love what I can do with Design Space. I guarantee that you would not be able to guess which design I used for the hat brim even when I tell you that it came from our Cricut Artbooking Collection (Z3503). The mustache came from the Cricut Artfully Sent (Z3168) cartridge, which is retired but is still for sale on my website.
Here is the Cricut Design Space file for my Santa.
The tag is cut using out Fancy Tags - Thin Cuts (Z4305) and I finished the tag off using our White and Gold Skinny Ribbon (Z4194).
The googly eyes came from my stash and the pom pom is cut from Silver Glitter paper. I sponged a little Pixie Ink (Z2844) on Santa's cheeks and nose to make them rosy. I love that we now have Peach cardstock (X5988) and I used the lighter side for his nose and face.
Here's my Santa tag.
