July Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Bear Hugs

Welcome to the July Stamp of the Month
Blog Hop!

This month I am following {Cat Nowak's blog}   We have 16 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

The July Stamp of the Month is entitled Bear's Hug (S1907) (Set of  17).   Here is a picture of this stamp set:

Another Close to My Heart made a teepee card and I was curious about how to make it.  I found this pin on Pinterest and decided to make one with this cute bear. They are super easy and take scraps to make.

Here's my card:

Let me tell you how I stamped the bear.  I inked him up in Almond Ink (Z2827) and sponged Toffee Ink (Z2828) and then added a little Expresso Ink (Z2829) around the edges using a Sponge Dauber (Z726).  Because our stamps are clear I was able to add more color where I wanted by sponging darker ink onto the stamp and stamping again.

The base of the card is made with Linen Cardstock (X6009) and the patterned paper comes from Into the Wild Paper Pack (X7247B).

The sentiments and hearts are stamped with Sapphire Ink (Z2848), Charcoal Ink (Z2831), and Ruby Ink (Z2870).

The July Stamp of the Month Stamp Set can be purchased for $18.95 or if you purchase $50 in CTMH products, you can add this stamp set to your order for an additional $5.  This stamp set is only available between July 1 – July 31, 2019.
