Share the Seasons Blog Hop

Welcome to the Share the Seasons
Blog Hop!

This month I am following {Wendy Kessler's blog}   We have 15 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s New Product Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

Close to my Heart is celebrating National Stamping Month with the Share the Seasons special! This special includes two exclusive stamp sets— My Acrylix® A Dash of Joy and My Acrylix® Giving Thanks—and one exclusive Share the Seasons Thin Cuts Bundle, which includes a multi-square Thin Cut and a binder clip label Thin Cut. These stamp sets and Thin Cuts have all been designed just for this special and are only available for purchase as a part of Share the Seasons.

Close to My Heart is offering a 30% discount on these stamp sets and Thin Cuts when you purchase them together in the Share the Seasons Stamp Sets + Thin Cuts bundle. You can also purchase the two stamp sets together without the Thin Cuts for 20% off, or you can purchase either stamp set alone for full price. The Thin Cuts are also available for individual purchase at full price. Check out this fantastic promotion here.

I made a Christmas card for this blog hop.  I used our beautiful new creamy French Vanilla cardstock (X6046) and stamped using Versamark (Z891) and then embossed using our Princess Gold Embossing Powder (Z2066).

Here's my card:

Let me give you a hint on how to stamp with the mini stamps.  I cut the overlay out and placed it on top of the panel I was stamping onto.  I held it in place with washi tape.  Then I stamped each stamp - one at a time using Versamark.  There is no hurry to heat emboss.  The Versamark stays wet quite a while.  Once I had stamped all of the images, I took the washi tape off, added the gold embossing powder, and heat embossed my images.

My husband decided that I needed a little bit of color so I colored our Sparkles (Z3274) and Bitty Sparkles (Z1263) with our new Dark Red Spectrum Noir Marker (Z2497) and embellished the card with it.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Melissa Robinson} and see what she has made with this adorable stamp set.

You can purchase any of the supplies listed above on my website
