The August Stamp of the Month is entitled Floral Celebration (S2008) (Set of 20). Here is a picture of this stamp set:
I made both of the "patterned papers" used in my cards on this live.
I took some of the stamps in this set and dedicating one color to each, stamped randomly on a piece of White Daisy Cardstock.
I used lighter colors for the larger stamps and the darker or more vibrant colors for the smaller flowers. Plus I second generation stamped some of the flowers. Second generation stamping is when you stamp the image a second time without reinking it.
Here are my cards:
I used these inks for this card: Thistle Ink, Glacier Ink, Peacock Ink, Sweet Leaf Ink, and Black Ink. I added the 3 dots with our Black 0.05 mm Journaling Pen.
I used these inks for this card: Peach Ink, Smoothie Ink, Candy Apple Ink, Julep Ink, and Black Ink. Once again I added the 3 dots with our Black 0.05 mm Journaling Pen.
To finish these cards off, I stamped the sentiments with Archival Black Ink and heat embossed using our Clear Embossing Powder. I wanted the embossing to stand out so I added more embossing powder using our fantastic embossing pens and more clear embossing powder.
The cards are matted with Thistle Cardstock (card #1) and Smoothie Cardstock (card #2) and then matted again with Black Cardstock.
Hard to see but I added some Diamond Stickles in the middle of the large flowers.
The August Stamp of the Month Stamp Set can be purchased for $18.95 or if you purchase $50 in CTMH products, you can add this stamp set to your order for an additional $5. This stamp set is only available between August 1 – August 31, 2020.
