Close to My Heart New Product Blog Hop

It's that time of the year again.  Close to My Heart just released the 2012 Autumn/Winter Idea Book.  We have a group of 55 Close to My Heart Consultants who have worked hard to show you some artwork that they made with our wonderful and exciting new products from our new catalog.  Hope you enjoy it and get some ideas of what you can do with our new line of papers, embellishments, inks and stamp sets.

You probably just left Pamela Ellison's Blog. Welcome to my blog!

I have been having a ball working with new product and started off the month with the August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  I made this beautiful Halloween box with the August Stamp of the Month, Baroque Borders.

And then yesterday I added this to the box for the 5th day of the Artiste in August Blog Hop.

Okay, so yesterday I promised you that I would show you what is under the graves.  And I promised you that it wasn't dirt!  By the way, I included links to my previous posts so you could see all the wonderful new products and the new Close to My Heart Exclusive Cricut Artiste Cartridge right,  The links are before each of the above pictures.  Now what was I going to do?  That's right, I was going to show you what was under the graves.  Now don't be afraid.  It is just .....................

A bunch of ghouls are under my gravestones!  These scary ghouls are stamped with our new pigment inks.  They are from the stamp set, Creepy Creatures (C1522).  The paper used is one of our new paper packs, Moonlight (X7161B).

Here is a closer view of my adorable little ghost card.

And an even closer view.

My little ghost is stamped on the patterned paper from Moonlight.  The moon is inked with Creme Brulee pigment ink and then the edges were rolled in Honey pigment ink to make it stand out more.  I have sparkles of different colors on everyone's eyes.  I just love how that looks!  The bubble above the ghost's head is cut with the new Cricut Artiste Cartridge.  Love that cartridge!

Now look at my owl.

I wanted a little extra something in the corner, so I used a Versamark pen and embossed my owl, who is actually part of the patterned paper.  Then I added googlie eyes just because I love googlie eyes!

And what did you think of my little Dracula?  Isn't he just the most adorable little vampire you have ever seen?  My husband thinks that he looks like Eddie Munster.

I love this patterned paper.  The bat sentiment was cut out with the Cricut Artiste cartridge again.  It is actually the bat card, cut smaller!  Too cool!  I stamped the sentiment with White Daisy Pigment Ink and sponged the edges with the White Daisy as well so that it would stand out.

My last card is My Skeleton.  Of course, he needed some googlie eyes as well.  These creatures are so whimsical that I kind of went crazy with the googlie eyes, but googlie eyes do make me happy!

As you can see, I did not do much embellishing on these cards.  I wanted to let the stamped images speak for themselves.  I hope you enjoyed what I made.
