Hopping Along with Artiste In August

Welcome to the 18th day of the Artiste in August Blog Hop.  This is a circular hop and  Pamela O'Connor is the blog in front of mine.  We are a group of Close to My Heart Consultants who are making a different project each day using our brand new Close to My Heart Exclusive Cricut Artiste Collection.  Each day we will be focusing on a different shape or box that you can cut out with the Cricut Artiste cartridge.

I am exhausted from my Open House last night and wanted a simple project for today.  I have not used the Clementine paper pack yet and I will tell you why.  I am SO hoarding it.  Today was the today to break into it.  This bunny box looked easy so I chose it.  I am loving the cute little boxes that you can cut with the Cricut Artiste.  You can find the bunny box on pg 73 of the Cricut Artiste Handbook and pg 54 of the Assembly Guide.

I cut the box at 2.5" height.  I cut 4 extra bunnies in Daisy White cardstock because I wanted a white bunny.  Initially I only cut 2 bunnies but found that the patterned paper on the back side was showing through.  No matter how hard I tried to align my bunnies they did not align exactly.  So I chose to cover the patterned paper on the back with another bunny.

Of course I had to give my bunny an eye so I used an itsy bitsy black opaque.  Just love using those for eyes!

Once again, please look at all you receive with the CTMH Cricut Artiste Collection.

  4. How do you cut the bunnies by themselves? I'm trying and nothing is working. Did you just cut 2 white boxes?

    1. Hi Sheena. It has been a couple of years but I believe I placed the bunnies on the edge of the mat so only the bunnies were cut. Let me know if that works. If not, I will try to do it again and let you know.
