Our challenge is to use any of the products featured in the My Crush promotion. I decided to use the paper from two of the books and go way outside of my box.
I have been wanting to create a She Art type of girl. I signed up for the class two years ago, watched it and said ,"Oh my!!" I was very UNCOMFORTABLE, to say the least. I started off by removing this heart paper from the Pink My Crush Album.
I Mod Podged it to a 8" x 10" canvas. Then I started adding colors with paint, stamps, and modeling paste. I even threw on some glitter for good measure.
Then I cut my girl out of the book print paper and the cute Lagoon diagonal print in the Pink My Crush Book. Her capris and her top are cut from For Always Picture My Life Cards.
This canvas is still a work in process. That is one thing I love about this type of art. If you don't love it, you just add more paint and start over again!
