March SOTM - Sunshine Birdies

Welcome to the March Stamp of the Month
Blog Hop!

This month I am following {Wendy Kessler's Blog.}   We have 36 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.   If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

The March Stamp of the Month is entitled Sunshine Birdies (S1603) (Set of 11).   Here is a picture of this stamp set:

Last month's Stamp of the Month reminded me of my childhood.  This month's stamp set reminds me of my teenagerhood.  I was a hippie growing up in the late 60's and early 70's. I wish that I had stamped then.  This stamp set would have been so much fun to decorate our notebooks.

This stamp set screamed Penelope.  I picked up an old layout that I loved from a few years ago. Close to My Heart had designed it and used it in magazine ads.  I had scrapbooked a picture of two of my granddaughters and really loved the layout.  I copied the layout design.  I CAS'ed myself!!  Yes, I made a scrapbooking layout and not a card!!

This layout features my 10 year old granddaughter who we are raising along with her brother.  I pulled out my Shin Han markers and had a great time coloring all of the whimsical birds and butterflies.  The green diagonal print at the bottom of the layout is washi tape from the Limeade ashi pack.  The Crystal Blue words are from the Friendly Wishes stamp set.  The rest are Cricut cuts and fussy cutting around the stamped images.  I popped up some of the images with our thin 3D foam tape.

The Sunshine Birdies Stamp of the Month Stamp Set can be purchased for $17.95 or if you purchase $50 in CTMH products, you can add this stamp set to your order for an additional $5.  This stamp set is only available between March 1 – March 31, 2016.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Haley Dyer's Blog} and see what she has made with this adorable stamp set.

You can purchase this stamp set as well as any of the supplies listed below on my website.

    1. I was a sign carrying, sit in, no bra, long haired hippie! Times change the person on the outside but I am still deep inside that rebel of the 60's and 70's!
