For the Love of Crafting - August SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to the August Stamp of the Month
Blog Hop!

This month I am following {Kimberly Bower's blog}   We have 27 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

The August Stamp of the Month is entitled For the Love of Crafting (S1808) (Set of  9).   Here is a picture of this stamp set:

Since I am a crafter I really, really LOVE these stamps!  I cannot use them all on one project so I will be pulling them out again and again.

One of my fellow Close to My Heart Consultants, Naomi Smith, showed me how to make a slider card.  It is super easy but makes a special card that can hold a gift card if you'd like.  Combined with the August SOTM, and you have a card that you could give to your favorite crafter and enclose a gift card they could use to purchase their favorite Close to My Heart products!

First I want to show you a short video showing the card in action.

I like to assemble scrapbooking kits.  I used the Picture My Life - Love Us cards (X7234E) in this kit but I had some left over so I decorated my card with a few of the leftovers.  This is my slider card closed.

And here it is when you pull the slider up.
