Regatta Blog Hop with SWAA

Welcome to April's Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop.    Who are the Stampers with an Attitude?  It is the Close to My Heart team lead by my fabulous upline, Kimberly Moss. This month I am following  {Belinda McLane.}

This month we are spotlighting boxes or the Regatta Paper Pack or Mother's Day.  Our blog hop is a circular hop.  You just click on the link to the next blog at the bottom of this post and go visit the next blog.  If you get lost, I have all of the participating blogs listed at the bottom of my post.  Hope you enjoy seeing what our team has made for you.

I chose to use the Regatta Paper Pack.  This paper pack has 12 different patterned papers to work with and they are all color coordinated.  I love Close to My Heart's new type of paper packs.  They only contain patterned paper, but with such a wonderful selection of small and large prints, I find that I am easily matching patterns with patterns.  Love it!

I pulled out our Cricut Artbooking cartridge and made a pop-up card.  The stamp set, Beach Days (D1684), had been calling my name.  Don't you just love that Octopus?  Not only is the stamp set adorable, but you don't even have to fussy cut it!  It is cut out with our Cricut Artistry cartridge.  So is all of the images that I  cut and popped up with our thin 3D foam tape.  Here is my card:

The inside of the card is super special.  With the Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge, these cards are easy to put together.

I want to thank you for visiting my blog.  The next very talented artist for you to visit on our blog hop is {Melissa Robinson}.

    February SOTM - Balloon Animals

Welcome to the February Stamp of the Month
    Blog Hop!

This month I am following {Catherine Nowak's Blog.}   We have 39 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.   If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

The February Stamp of the Month is entitled Balloon Animals (S1602) (Set of 13).   Here is a picture of this stamp set:

Isn't this just the cutest stamp set ever?  I am guessing it brings me back to my childhood.  I love it!

I kind of knew what I wanted to do with this stamp set but I started off my designing my checking Pinterest.  I didn't find anything that really grabbed me that would work with this stamp set, but it got my creative juices flowing.  I wanted something fun and whimsical with bright colors.  So I knew I was using our new Penelope paper pack and I knew that I wanted to bring in cuts with the Cricut.

    Here is my card.

Do you like my cute little balloon monkey riding the balloon giraffe?  I have a lot going on but using the Penelope paper pack made it so easy to create.  The patterns are fun without being too matchy-matchy.

The Balloon Animals Stamp of the Month Stamp Set can be purchased for $17.95 or if you purchase $50 in CTMH products, you can add this stamp set to your order for an additional $5.  This stamp set is only available between February 1 – February 29, 2016.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Melissa Robinson's Blog} and see what she has made with this adorable stamp set.

I am linking this card with the Paper Players Tic Tac Toe Challenge.

Welcome to the November SOTM Blog Hop - Cheers, 2016!

Welcome to the November Stamp of the Month
    Blog Hop!

This month I am following {Sheila Bennett's Blog.}   We have almost 40 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.   If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

The November Stamp of the Month is entitled Cheers, 2016! (S1511) (Set of 17).   Here is a picture of this stamp set:

Fall has finally arrived in Memphis and I am ready for the beautiful colors and the cooler temperatures.  Close to My Heart has made a beautiful paper pack that brings all of the colors of Fall to your artwork.  It is called Sangria and I used it for my card.

    Here is my card.

I used an old pattern for my card that I found at PageMaps.com in 2013.

I am pretty true to the pattern.  I love this sentiment - "Dream Big".  I find it very inspirational and will be making quite a few pieces of artwork with it.  I used the Close to My Heart Artbooking and Art Philosophy Cricut Collections heavily and had fun making this card.  I will list all of the supplies below.

Did you see that adorable heart tab?  It is from the Cricut Artbooking Cartridge.  Using Design Space for the Cricut Explore, I changed the size ratio for the tab and made it longer and slimmer so that it would fit on my card better.  The white "stitching" is made with a Signo pen and is not real stitching.  I like how it brightens up and "finishes" my card.

In my supply list below I forgot to include my favorite "tool" that I have been using - our thin 3D Foam tape.  It adds a little dimension but allows you to still mail your card without additional postage.

The Cheers, 2016! Stamp of the Month Stamp Set can be purchased for $17.95 or if you purchase $50 in CTMH products, you can add this stamp set to your order for an additional $5.  This stamp set is only available between November 1 – November 30, 2015.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Catherine Nowak's Blog} and see what she has made with this adorable stamp set.
