September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Just Treats

Welcome to the September Stamp of the Month
Blog Hop!

This month I am following {Catherine Nowak's blog}   We have 19 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

The September Stamp of the Month is entitled Just Treats (S1809) (Set of  22).   Here is a picture of this stamp set:

I absolutely LOVE techniques.  I saw a video showing Jill Broadbent from Close to My Heart trying some different watercolor type techniques.  This technique doesn't use watercolor paints but it is a ton of fun to make.  Here is a video showing the background technique.

Once the background dried, I was really in the mood to play with the new Shaker Thin Cuts (Z4309)

and Shaker Window Foam and Acetate (Z4310).  And don't forget the two different packs of Loose Sequins - Silver (Z4304) and Gold (Z4235).

These are all from our new catalog that went live today.  So many new products, so little time.

So I made two different cards using the Just Treats Stamp Set.  Here they are.  The first one is very feminine and I love the colors.

I cut out a few black glitter hearts with the Shaker window thin cuts.  This is honestly the best product we have put out in a very long time.  So easy to use.  I am loving it! The black and white strip at the bottom is actually stamped with the stamp in this stamp set using the best quick drying black ink, Intense Black (Z4189) and the two gems on either side are the new Sugarplum Glitter Gems (Z4192).  The black circle surrounding the shaker window is from our Halloween paper pack called Hello Pumpkin Paper Pack (X7236B).

The next card's background was made using the same reinker colors in the card above.  It was just applied to Tangerine Cardstock (retired) instead of White Daisy Cardstock (X6027).  What a difference, huh?

I decided to make a Halloween card.  I used some die cuts from our Artbooking Cricut Cartridge (Z3299).  Gotta have some bling so I matted the background piece I made with our Black Glitter Paper (Z3236).
