Thin Cuts Blog Hop

This hop I am following {Melissa Robinson's Blog.}   We have 19 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in our Thin Cuts Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

This hop we are featuring our product line of Thin Cuts.  Close to My Heart has Thin Cuts that are stand alone and they also offer some with accompanying stamp sets.  I have chosen to feature both types in my artwork for this hop.

And here is my card.

I hope that you can see all of the thin cuts I have used.  I have been busy.

First I cut the Lagoon patterned paper from So Much Happy (X7241B) with our Thin Cuts - Stitched Rectangle Frames (Z4260).  I am loving all of our stitched Thin Cuts.  They give such a finished look.

Then I took the light gray patterned paper from the So Much Happy paper pack and adhered Lagoon (X6007) and Blueberry cardstock (X5987) and Silver Glitter Paper (Z3239) that had been cut with the scallop border die from the Thin Cuts - Decorative Borders (Z4241).  This is one time that I used the negative of the cut so that it would look like waves.  I then ran the paper with the waves through my cuttlebug with the medium size of the Stitched Rectangle Frames.  I then used both the frame and the rectangle.  This was matted on the light side of Mint cardstock (X5986).

The sun is cut from yellow patterned paper also found in So Much Happy.  I used the Thin Cuts - Stitched Circles (Z4181).

The boat comes from the stamp set/thin cuts set, Cruisin' to Adventure (Z4261).  This is an absolutely adorable set.  I stamped the boat using our Intense Black Ink (Z4189) and colored it with our watercolor pencils (Z4242) and I even used our Shimmer Brush - Clear (Z3293) to add some sparkle to the cloud. The card is finished off with a few of our I Heart Us Sequins (Z4270).

Now the inside of the card is where all of the magic happens.  This is a wiper card.

One of our Australasian Close to My Heart Consultants, Jennie Hunt-Weymuth, has a wonderful tutorial and Cricut Design Space file for this card on her blog.  Be sure to check it out.

Here's a video showing the inside of my card.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Michelle Stewart's Blog} and see what she has made with this adorable stamp set.
