January/February New Product Blog Hop

Welcome to the January/February
New Product Blog Hop!

This month I am following {Cat Nowak's blog}   We have 19 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s New Product Blog Hop. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

I decided that I wanted to put together my version of the wreath on the cover of the new catalog. Let me tell you about the All Around Creativity Wreath Promotion.

January 2020 is National Papercrafting Month, and to celebrate, we’ve put together a special that
features your all-around creativity! The All Around Creativity special includes four gorgeous wooden
wreath kits to help you boost your home décor! Each of these four kit options is unique and is available for individual purchase at full price, or you can purchase them at a discount when you order four or more kits at once.

With options for four different sentiments—Be Kind, Create, Grateful, and Stay Awhile—you can easily tailor this home décor piece to reflect the purpose or vibe of each room in which you choose to place it!

The sturdy plywood wreath stands up to time and each kit option includes realistic paper flowers and
leaves, along with an elegant paper bow for embellishment! In addition, each wreath kit comes with two pieces of colorful, double-sided backing paper, which you can use to personalize it even more.
This special is available from January 1 through January 31, while supplies last. From January 31 through

Here's my wreath:

I am not sure that my wreath is finished yet - may be a work in progress.  I wanted the "Create" to stand out so I "painted it" with my Black Shimmer Brush (Z4224).  Super duper easy and fast!  Then I simply separated the die cuts, bent them on score lines, and adhered them to the frame with Liquid Glass (Z679).  That was it!

I haven't decided whether I want to add one of the paper circle backgrounds yet or more flowers. I may have a photo collage made of my favorite pictures to back it up.

Now let me focus on the flowers.

Hard to see but I painted a thin coat of Stickles on my flowers.  I used Pink Taffeta (Z3554) and Goldenrod (Z3560)  This adds a little extra interest to my flowers since I decided to keep them white.  They also dry super fast this way.  I added a small pink pearl from my stash to the centers.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Wendy Kessler} and see what she has made with this adorable stamp set.

You can purchase any of the supplies listed above on my website
