The May Stamp of the Month is entitled Time to Celebrate (S2005) (Set of 28). Here is a picture of this stamp set:
Here is my card:
Do you recognize my little fox? It is from the You Make Me happy (D1920) Operation Smile stamp set. I love this stamp set and I love that $7 of the price of this stamp goes to Operation Smile, a wonderful charity that travels to various countries offering free surgeries for cleft palates.
When I first purchased this stamp set, I stamped all of the images and sat down and colored them with our Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers. I have picked them up since then and used them in my cards. Today's card features my adorable fox.
And I just had to use the hey there sentiment from the May Stamp of the Month stamped in Black ink directly onto the patterned paper.
How do you like my scallops made with our Dreamy Holographic Paper (Z3665)? I cut them with our retired stitched scallops. The patterned paper is from our new Mix-In Paper Pack (X9015) and the heart paper is a zip strip from that paper pack.
I colored one of our new Wood Buttons (Z3668) with our Peach Shimmer Brush (Z3661) and then adhered a Gold and White Twine (Z4014) bow to the front of the heart wooden button.
The TriBlend Markers used were: Orange Blend (Z2480), Fair Skin Blend (Z2476), Coral Blend (Z2481), Dull Green Blend (Z2486), and Light Green Blend (Z2485).
You can purchase this stamp set as well as any of the supplies listed above on my website.
Such a pretty card Melinda...and the button adds just the right touch!
